About David Barrick

David Barrick’s experience extends from high-level positions in Canadian municipalities as both an elected leader and administrative leader - serving as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the 9th largest City in Canada - to the trenches of entrepreneurship and the launch of a number of start-up businesses. His entrepreneurial drive took him from retail and property management, to an online subscription based database to help companies and consumers find green alternatives that are beneficial for the environment. He is also a strategic business consultant, guiding organisations during times of transition focusing on complete service inventories and development of KPI’s for the municipal sector. 

With an Honours Bachelor’s in Political Science with a concentration in Law from Brock University, he has continued to earn certifications that prove vital in his work, counting administrative and leadership-focused certifications through York University’s Schulich School of Business and Queen’s University Smith School of Business.

David’s experience and  desire to make a lasting and sustainable impact has made him approachable, adaptable and tireless in his work to build incredible public-private partnerships, all while balancing budgets and overseeing teams of hardworking professionals.
